V nedeľu 05.03. 2023 sme zas raz vycestovali za novými dobrodružstvami, priateľstvami i skúsenosťami. Tentokrát do tureckého mesta Bursa, ktoré sa nachádza neďaleko Istanbulu. Cesta nám rýchlo ubehla a keď sme sa podvečer ubytovali v hoteli, tešili sme sa na ďalší deň a na program, ktorý si pre nás prichystali naši tureckí priatelia.
V pondelok sem sa prepravili autobusom do školy, kde nás srdečne privítali učitelia a žiaci partnerskej školy. Žiaci pod vedením učiteľov si pre nás prichystali krátky kultúrny program. Na privítanie nám zaspievali a zahrali na klavíri. Po tomto príjemnom úvode sme sa išli do jednej z učebni porozprávať a odprezentovať prezentácie a videá o našej krajine, meste, škole i kultúre, zároveň sme lepšie spoznali našich chorvátskych i tureckých priateľov. Keď sme skončili s prezentovaním, čakal nás chutný obed. Neskôr nám ukázali svoju školu. Po prehliadke školy sme preberali prečo a ako recyklovať. Nasledoval workshop, kde sme v zmiešaných družstvách vytvárali logá pre recykláciu. Po skončení aktivít v škole sme sa autobusom presunuli na promenádu k pobrežiu mora, urobili sme si pár fotiek a mohli sme voľne poprechádzať s našimi novými priateľmi. Neskôr sme sa dohodli, že sa pôjdeme spolu navečerať do reštaurácie. Po večeri sme sa vrátili do hotela a už sme sa tešili na ďalší deň.
V utorok sme navštívili pohorie Uludag. Hore sme sa vyviezli lanovkou. Prvý krát sme videli sneh aj v Turecku. Po príchode na miesto sme sa fotili a zvítali s tureckými študentmi. Bola neskutočná zima a stačilo len pár minút, aby sme boli krásne vyštípaní. S takouto zimou sme nerátali a preto sme utekali do reštaurácie, zohriať sa pri ohni. Po chvíľke na zohriatie nasledovalo ďalšie fotenie. Hneď ako sme sa dofotili, sme sa vrátili lanovkou dolu. Potom sme nasadli do autobusu a ten nás odviezol trochu nižšie. A vtedy začala obrovská guľovačka. Nasledoval obed, ktorý nám pripravili pred očami. Bola to žemľa plnená pečeným mäsom a šalátom. Veľmi nám to chutilo. Po peknom výlete sme sa vrátili späť oddýchnuť a zohriať sa do hotela. Potom sme išli na večeru a prechádzku po uliciach mesta spolu s pani učiteľkami.
V stredu sme navštívili ZOO Bursa, kde sme videli plno zaujímavých zvierat a spravili sme si tam pár fotiek. Hneď potom sme išli do botanickej záhrady, kde sme si požičali štvorkoliesky, na ktorých sme sa všetci vozili a obdivovali krásu botanickej záhrady Bursa. Neskôr sme išli na obed a ochutnali sme tradičný kender kebab, ktorý nám veľmi chutil. Po obede sme išli do nákupného centra, v ktorom sme strávili 3 hodiny nakupovaním rôznych vecí.
Vo štvrtok sme sa vydali za okresným guvernérom a okresným riaditeľom školstva, po návšteve guvernéra a okresného riaditeľa školstva sme išli do školy, v ktorej nám učitelia odovzdali certifikáty za zúčastnenie sa v projekte Erasmus+. Po obdržaní certifikátov sme dostali voľný čas na prehliadku a spoznanie školy. Mali sme voľné aktivity so žiakmi ako napríklad hranie športov (stolný tenis, futbal…). Pred západom slnka sme odišli do obchodného centra na menšie nákupy a zahrali sme si bowling s novými kamošmi. Po super zábave sme sa pred cestou na hotel rozlúčili s tureckými kamarátmi a pripravovali sa na cestu do Istanbulu.
Piatok – náš deň sa začal veľmi skoro. Vstali sme o piatej. O 6tej sme už sedeli v autobuse a mierili do najbližšieho prístavu, kde nás čakal trajekt. Z neho sme sledovali krásny výhľad na Istanbul pri svite slnka. Keď sme sa prepravili cez Egejské more, znova sme nastúpili do autobusu. Ten nás dopravil k mešite Hagia Sophia, kde nás sprevádzala milá sprievodkyňa, ktorá nám porozprávala všetky zaujímavosti z kultúry a histórie. V blízkosti mešity sme navštívili aj veľa iných historických miest ako napríklad hipodróm s egyptským obeliskom, fontánou a palácom Ali pašu. Neskôr sme navštívili Spice bazár a Grand bazár, v ktorom je okolo 1200 obchodov. Na nákupy sme mali veľké množstvo času, až štyri hodiny. Po nákupoch nás znova čakala plavba, tentokrát loďou cez Bospor, ktorý rozdeľuje mesto na ázijskú a európsku časť. Loď nás doviezla do jednej z najlepších rybích reštaurácií. Večera bola veľmi rozmanitá, spoznali sme nové zaujímavé chute. Keď sa večera skončila, deň sa už pomaly chýlil ku koncu. Prišiel pre nás autobus a odviezol nás do hotela, v ktorom sme prespali noc pred odchodom. Tento deň bol zlatým klincom nášho výletu.
Nabití novými zážitkami, priateľstvami a chvíľami, na ktoré nikdy nezabudneme sme sa v sobotu šťastne vrátili domov.
On Sunday 05.03. In 2023, we traveled once again for new adventures, friendships and experiences. This time to the Turkish city of Bursa, which is located near Istanbul. Our trip passed quickly and when we checked into the hotel in the early evening, we were looking forward to the next day and the program that our Turkish friends had prepared for us. On Monday, they were transported here by bus to the school, where we were warmly welcomed by the teachers and students of the partner school. The students, led by the teachers, prepared a short cultural program for us. They sang and played the piano to welcome us. After this pleasant introduction, we went to one of the classrooms to talk and present presentations and videos about our country, city, school and culture, at the same time we got to know our Croatian and Turkish friends better. When we finished the presentation, a delicious lunch awaited us. Later they showed us their school. After the tour of the school, we discussed why and how to recycle. This was followed by a workshop where we created logos for recycling in mixed cooperatives. After the school activities, we took the bus to the seafront promenade, took some photos and were free to walk with our new friends. Later we agreed to go to a restaurant for dinner together. After dinner we returned to the hotel and were already looking forward to the next day.
On Tuesday, we visited the Uludag Mountains. We took the cable car to the top. We also saw snow for the first time in Turkey. After arriving at the place, we took pictures and greeted the Turkish students. It was incredibly cold and it only took a few minutes for us to be beautifully chipped. We didn’t count on this kind of winter and that’s why we ran to the restaurant to warm up by the fire. After a while to warm up, another photo shoot followed. As soon as we finished taking pictures, we went back down the cable car. Then we got on the bus and it took us a little lower. And that’s when the huge ball game started. This was followed by lunch, which was prepared in front of our eyes. It was a bun filled with roast meat and salad. We liked it very much. After a nice trip, we returned to the hotel to rest and warm up. Then we went to dinner and a walk through the streets of the city together with the teachers. On Wednesday, we visited Bursa ZOO, where we saw a lot of interesting animals and took some photos there. Right after that, we went to the botanical garden, where we rented four-wheelers, on which we all rode and admired the beauty of the Bursa botanical garden. Later we went for lunch and tasted the traditional kender kebab, which we really liked. After lunch we went to the mall where we spent 3 hours shopping for different things. On Thursday, we went to see the district governor and the district director of education, after the visit of the governor and the district director of education, we went to the school where the teachers gave us certificates for participating in the Erasmus+ project. After receiving the certificates, we were given free time to tour and get to know the school. We had free activities with the students, such as playing sports (table tennis, football…). Before sunset, we went to the mall for a little shopping and played bowling with new friends. After the great fun, we said goodbye to our Turkish friends before going to the hotel and preparing for the trip to Istanbul.
Friday – our day started very early. We got up at five. At 6 o’clock we were already sitting on the bus and heading to the nearest port, where the ferry was waiting for us. From it we watched a beautiful view of Istanbul in the sunshine. After crossing the Aegean Sea, we boarded the bus again. He took us to the Hagia Sophia mosque, where we were accompanied by a nice guide who told us all the interesting things about culture and history. We also visited many other historical places near the mosque, such as the hippodrome with the Egyptian obelisk, the fountain and Ali Pasha’s palace. Later we visited the Spice bazaar and the Grand bazaar, which has around 1200 shops. We had a lot of time for shopping, up to four hours. After shopping, we were again waiting for a cruise, this time by boat across the Bosphorus, which divides the city into the Asian and European parts. The boat took us to one of the best fish restaurants. The dinner was very varied, we got to know new interesting tastes. By the time dinner was over, the day was slowly drawing to a close. A bus came for us and took us to the hotel where we slept the night before departure. This day was the highlight of our trip. Loaded with new experiences, friendships and moments that we will never forget, we happily returned home on Saturday.
